My artistic work builds around the process of creating a space in which change and movement reach a state of persistent continuity. In nature, I find constantly evolving patterns that can arise from organic elements such as flowing water, sunlight, clouds, or fog, as well as from the complex interplay of the human form. These transient phenomena and fleeting shapes carry an ephemeral character that serves as a source for the initial creative engagement.

Through subtle interactions between visual perception and its gestural transformation during creation, it is rhythm, movement, and vibration in both that consolidate to a whole as a depiction of time. The image hence creates a kind of resonating permanence in which continuity, gesture, and flow find a constant, while simultaneously animating further on.

In my current work I therefore try to find moments in which movement and change solidify enough to create a general stability, while at the same time remaining intrinsically successive, making permanence and transformation fuse in a state of vivid tranquility.
